Overview

Smartklik Video Editor needs local browser storage to function. We do not use advertising cookies. A session cookie is set only if you sign in. Analytics is a third-party script (Databuddy), not a first-party ad cookie.

Strictly necessary

• IndexedDB / OPFS: projects, media files, editor state. Without this the editor cannot save your work on the device.
• Local storage: UI preferences such as panel layout and theme (next-themes).
• Session cookie: created if you sign in, so the server can recognize your account. It is not set for anonymous editing.

Analytics

We load Databuddy from cdn.databuddy.cc for anonymized page-load and error counts. We disable session tracking, outgoing-link tracking, and attribute tracking in our configuration. You can block the script with a browser or content blocker.

How to clear data

Use your browser’s site settings for this domain to delete cookies and storage. That also deletes local projects.
